February Fest 2008
Three Concerts In The
Month Of February!

The Peninsula Music Festival presents its third February Fest!

Concerts will be held at our most popular chamber concert locations throughout the County and will feature members of the PMF Orchestra and favorite guest artists from the August symphonic season! Each concert includes a reception after the concert to meet the musicians.

Join us:

  • Tuesday, February 5, 7:00 p.m., Shepherd of the Bay Lutheran Church
  • Tuesday, February 12, 7:00 p.m., Peninsula Art School
  • Saturday, February 16, 7:00 p.m., Shepherd of the Bay Lutheran Church

All concerts are general admission seating and are just $30 each or save $15 and subscribe to all three for just $75! No tickets will be issued, but advance reservations are strongly suggested. Names will be on a guest list at the door.

Make individual reservations to the concerts you are interested in attending at $30.00 each - Students & children $10.

Subscribe to the February Fest for $75 and save $15 (to reserve one seat to each concert would be $90)

If you are unable to attend but would like to support the February Fest and its future, you can make a donation to offset the costs of presenting these concerts.

Andrew Armstrong, Piano

Andrew Armstrong returns to Door County for a rare recital appearance to perform the music of Chopin, Liszt and Mussorgsky.

Tuesday, February 12, 7:00 p.m

Marilyn McDonald, Baroque Violin
Stephen Alltop, Harpsichord

Enjoy musical warmth on a winter evening with gems of the baroque period played on baroque instruments. Program includes music of Bach, Veracini, Biber and Elizabeth Jacquet de la Guerre.

This season's final February Fest concert features solo, duo, and trio music spanning the Baroque to the present, from the serious to the light-hearted. Trios by Beethoven and Mendelssohn anchor the program.
