PMF welcomes pianist Olga Kern in her Festival debut performing Rachmaninoff's Second Piano Concerto, first performed at the PMF in 1977 and most recently in 2003 with Lilya Zilberstein. Glinka's Ruslan & Lyudmila Overture was first performed here in 1976 with Michael Charry conducting and most recently in 1996. The only previous performance of Stravinsky's Petruska at PMF was in 2002. Rimsky-Korsakov's Golden Cockerel Suite is being performed for the first time at the Festival.
