“Door County” is a 70-mile long region that is nestled along the beautiful shores of Wisconsin USA’s famed Door Peninsula. It attracts a large tourist population, contains 34 named islands and dozens of small cities, towns, and villages, each with its own distinct look and feel. You betcha: we’re the thumb of the Wisconsin mitten.

Symphony Series concerts last about 2hrs (including intermission), and Chamber Music Series and Recital Series concerts about an hour.

Many who attend our concerts are on vacation and may have spent the day at the beach, on a boat, biking, cross-country skiing, or hiking. Attire is everything from casual to dressy so just be comfortable. Jeans to dresses, shorts to suits — the music sounds great no matter what you wear!

The eighty musicians of the Festival Orchestra represent leading symphonic and operatic institutions from around the world, including those of Toronto, Calgary, Houston, Boston, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, Omaha, Milwaukee, The Dallas Opera, Houston Grand Opera, and Lyric Opera of Chicago.

The Donald and Carol Kress Pavilion has a private lot with additional street parking if necessary.

The Door Community Auditorium is adjacent to Gibraltar School where there is plenty of free parking. The parking lot continues around the back of the school, and parking attendants will be present at each concert to direct you into spaces. If you need to drop someone off, follow the instructions of the parking attendants and pull down in front of the Auditorium. You will be able to turn around and return to the general parking area. Ushers for the Symphony Series will begin seating patrons 45 minutes prior to the 7:30pm performances. For Chamber Music Series and Recital Series concerts - doors open 30 minutes prior to concerts.

Yes; so if you’re sensitive to the cold bring a sweater or light wrap, just in case!

Yes; however, there is no elevator to the balcony at the Door Community Auditorium so please select your seats accordingly. If you need assistance, please call the Festival office to make special arrangements for early admittance.

Wisconsin is one of the few states that charges sales tax on non-profit performing arts organization ticket sales. Whether you purchase your tickets online, by phone, or don't even live in Wisconsin, the sales tax applies because you will be attending a live performance at the Door Community Auditorium in Wisconsin when the concert is performed.

This per order fee helps to cover fees charged to the Festival by credit card companies. It also helps cover costs associated with the printing and mailing of patron tickets.

This per ticket fee is collected at the request of the Door Community Auditorium. These fees are then paid to the DCA at the close of the Symphony Series in August. If you have further questions, please contact the Auditorium directly at (920)868-2728.

Donald and Carol Kress Pavilion

The Donald and Carol Kress Pavilion is located in the heart of Egg Harbor. This stunningly modern building was completed in 2018, and features a second-floor Great Hall with floor to ceiling windows that provide exquisite views of the bay and surrounding orchards while you enjoy PMF’s Chamber Music Series and Recital Series performances. Note: The Kress Pavilion does not sell tickets to PMF performances.

Door Community Auditorium

The Door Community Auditorium, home to the Symphony Series, is located at the north end of Fish Creek, across the street from the Top of the Hill Shops, and right next door to Gibraltar School. Note: The DCA does not sell tickets to PMF performances.

Yes; our offices are open year-round, and in addition to the Symphony Series every August, we present Chamber Musics and Recital Series concerts throughout the year.
