Lilya Zilberstein performs tonight for the ninth time at the Festival. Previous works performed in addition to Thursday night's Strauss Burleske and Chopin Andante Spianato & Grand Polonaise: Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto #3 and Mozart #9 in 2000, Strauss' Burleske and Tchaikovsky's First in 2002, Rachmaninoff #2 in 2003, Tchaikovsky #2 in 2005, Beethoven #3 in 2009, and Brahms #1 in 2009.

Glinka's Life for the Tsar Overture was performed in 1988, Victor Yampolsky conducting. Prokofiev's Symphony #3 is being performed for the first time at the Festival. Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto #3 has been previously performed in 2000 by the same forces as in tonight's program. Program notes for this concert...
