This program includes the first PMF performance of Scriabin's First Symphony and the Tessa Lark's PMF debut. The Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto was first performed at the PMF in 1965 with Charles Treger and Thor Johnson conducting and most recently in 2011 with Carlne Goulding and Victor Yampolsky. Borodin's In the Steppes of Central Asia was first performed by the PMF in 1971 with Thor Johnson conducting and most recently in 2001 with Victor Yampolsky.
